Oak Court Barns, Essex

  • Location

    Elsenham, Essex

The Oak Court Barn development is located in rural Essex and comprises a plot of five luxury barn properties. Designed by architect Charles Xenakis, the property exterior has been built to replicate the traditional listed oak barns in the area, whilst the inside of the homes the finishes will reflect the natural environment with solid oak and natural stone flooring.

An advocate for sustainable building methods and lecturer at a local University in Crete, Charles has been using timber frame in his work for years due to the myriad of sustainable benefits, including its low embodied energy and ability to trap and store CO2, along with its build-time efficiency and cost effectiveness.

Charles chose to partner with Paramount Timber on this project due to our expertise and quality service, going above and beyond to help in other facets of construction and project management. Having built a successful partnership, we continue to work on various projects with Charles around London and the South East.

“It was a pleasure to work with the team at Paramount Timber Group on this project. Nothing was too much trouble, they were always on hand to assist in all areas of construction, going above and beyond to make the experience as smooth and successful as possible. I am looking forward to working with the team again on our upcoming projects.”
